The BIO-DISTRICT APP project has begun its journey!

On July 23, 2025, we held a productive, inspiring, and informative online pre-kick-off meeting, bringing together all project partners for the first time. The meeting laid the foundation for a solid and coordinated collaboration.

Each partner introduced their organization, team, and specific roles within the project.
We held an open Q&A session to align expectations and clarify roles.
The Italian LAME Bio-district and the Greek territorial context were presented, offering valuable insights into the regions at the heart of our initiative.
We then discussed the project’s overall methodology, objectives, activities, timeline, and budget.
Another key agenda item was the presentation of communication protocols, both internal and external, to ensure a common approach to visibility and stakeholder engagement.
We concluded with a review of next steps and planning for the physical Kick-Off Meeting in Italy on September 24-25, 2025.

Our Project Officer, Ms. Anca Daniela Simion, provided valuable input and clarifications on project procedures, eligibility requirements, and reporting rules. Her guidance was greatly appreciated by all participants.
