BIO-DISTRICT APP | 12/10/26 Partners’ Coordination Meeting

On 12 October 2026, the BIO-DISTRICT APP partnership held an online coordination meeting, bringing together all project partners from Greece and Italy under the coordination of Lead Partner CIHEAM Bari. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress of the partnership’s work and coordinate the next steps for the implementation of planned activities.

A key focus of the discussion was the work plan for the activities to be implemented in Greece. Partners worked together to clarify their respective roles and responsibilities, establish upcoming deadlines, and ensure effective coordination among the organisations involved. This collaborative approach aims to facilitate the smooth implementation of project activities and strengthen cooperation across the participating regions.

The meeting also addressed the planning of activities under Work Package 4 (WP4), with particular emphasis on the organisation of the upcoming Living Labs workshops. These workshops will provide a framework for collaboration and knowledge exchange among relevant stakeholders, supporting the development of innovative approaches to the promotion and development of Bio-Districts.

In addition, partners discussed preparations for the next in-person partnership meeting in Greece, which will offer a further opportunity to strengthen cooperation, exchange updates, and coordinate the implementation of the project’s objectives. The Project Officer from the Joint Secretariat also participated in the online meeting, contributing to the ongoing coordination between the partnership and the programme.

Through regular communication, joint planning, and the active involvement of all partners, BIO-DISTRICT APP continues to advance its efforts to promote the development of Bio-Districts in Western Greece and Apulia, fostering cross-border cooperation between the two regions.

The partnership remains committed to working together towards shared objectives, strengthening regional collaboration, and supporting sustainable development through the promotion of Bio-Districts.
