InnoPolis participates in the Interreg webinar “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Interreg Communications”

InnoPolis joined communication and project officers from across the Interreg Greece–Italy Programme for a webinar on the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence in project communication.

Aigio, 20 October 2026 — On 20 October 2026, InnoPolis – Centre for Innovation & Culture, partner of the BIO-DISTRICT APP project (Interreg VI-A Greece–Italy 2021–2027), participated in the online webinar “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Interreg Communications”. The webinar was organised by the Managing Authority of the Programme in cooperation with Interact.

Building the right competences

The webinar addressed the competences that communication and project officers need in order to use artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively in their daily work. The thematic sessions covered four areas:

Generative AI today — its current capabilities and the areas where it can add value to project communication.

Large language models — how they work, and how to prepare clear and effective instructions.

From information to outputs — workflows that turn project information into texts, visuals, infographics, video and audio, always combined with authentic project material.

Responsible use — the EU AI Act and its principles: transparency, protection of personal data, copyright and licensing, factual verification and human responsibility.

Why this matters for BIO-DISTRICT APP

InnoPolis will apply the knowledge gained in the communication activities of BIO-DISTRICT APP. The aim is to present the project’s work on Bio-Districts and digital solutions for organic agriculture in a clear, accessible and accurate way, in full compliance with the Programme’s communication and visibility requirements.

Thank you

InnoPolis thanks the Managing Authority of the Interreg Greece–Italy Programme and Interact for organising this informative and practical webinar.

The BIO-DISTRICT APP project is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Greece–Italy 2021–2027 Programme.
