WINOVATE Project: Innovating Agri-Food Education through Non-Alcoholic Wine

INNOPOLIS proudly participates in the Erasmus+ WINOVATE project, which explores the potential of non-alcoholic wine as a driver of innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship in agri-food education. WINOVATE brings together partners from across Europe to create a new educational approach that blends ancient Greek traditions with modern food and beverage trends. Through research, training, and community engagement, the project supports young entrepreneurs, trainers, and vocational students to build new skills and business models around non-alcoholic wine production and marketing.

As part of WINOVATE, INNOPOLIS has developed an interactive learning and training platform specifically designed to support VET trainers, students, and industry stakeholders. This platform includes a comprehensive Handbook on Non-Alcoholic Wine, a series of Micro-MOOCs (short online courses), and business planning tools that promote hands-on, real-world skills development. The platform is accessible in multiple languages and offers flexible, modular learning paths that adapt to different educational needs and professional levels.

The WINOVATE platform also introduces an innovative incubator model where users can co-create business ideas, explore sustainability practices, and understand market dynamics for alcohol-free beverages. By combining digital content, entrepreneurial workshops, and real-world applications, INNOPOLIS empowers the next generation of agri-food innovators and strengthens the future of sustainable, health-conscious wine production in Greece and beyond.
