ISRICM-EU Youth Debate Series Successfully Completed

Between 11 November and 5 December 2025, InnoPolis successfully implemented three structured Youth Debate Sessions within the framework of the ISRICM-EU project, engaging young people in meaningful dialogue on refugee inclusion, social cohesion, and the future of multicultural Europe.

Across the three sessions, 45 young participants aged 18–30 took part in interactive debates, workshops, and policy labs addressing key societal challenges related to migration, identity, and youth participation.

Youth Debate Sessions

Debate 1 – Youth and Refugee Integration (11 November 2025)
This session explored how young people and local communities can actively support the integration of Ukrainian refugees through education, volunteering, and intercultural dialogue.

Debate 2 – Youth Voices on Crisis Response (27 November 2025)
Participants examined the impact of the war in Ukraine on European societies and discussed youth-led approaches to solidarity, social resilience, and humanitarian action.

Debate 3 – Identity, Belonging, and the Future of Multicultural Europe (5 December 2025)
The final debate focused on questions of identity and diversity, highlighting the role of young Europeans in fostering inclusive, democratic, and respectful societies.

Key Results

  • 45 participants engaged across three debate sessions
  • 100% participant satisfaction reported in all sessions
  • 93% of participants indicated that the debates significantly enhanced their understanding of different perspectives
  • Multiple actionable proposals developed on social inclusion, community engagement, and refugee integration

Through structured dialogue, collaborative group work, and creative policy labs, participants produced concrete recommendations aimed at:

  • Strengthening social inclusion
  • Supporting refugee integration
  • Enhancing youth participation in public life
  • Promoting intercultural understanding

The Youth Debate Series demonstrated that young people are not only the future of Europe but are already active contributors to addressing its social and humanitarian challenges.

InnoPolis extends its sincere thanks to all participating young people for their commitment, constructive engagement, and contributions toward building more inclusive communities.
