BIO-DISTRICT APP KICK-OFF – 24/09/2025 (Afternoon)

The afternoon of the first day in Bari was dedicated to a field visit to the Lame Biodistrict – a concrete example of how organic farming, local values, and community cooperation can work together to create a sustainable and resilient territory.

Project partners had the opportunity to meet local stakeholders, exchange experiences, and observe firsthand how the biodistrict model empowers farmers, supports biodiversity, and connects agriculture with culture and tradition.

This on-the-ground experience enriched the project discussions, providing a tangible perspective on the objectives of the BIO-DISTRICT APP initiative – strengthening organic farming and fostering cross-border cooperation between Greece and Italy.
