WINOVATE Best Practices Map: Showcasing Greek Innovation in Non-Alcoholic Wine

As part of the WINOVATE project, INNOPOLIS proudly contributed to the creation of the Best Practices Map, highlighting five outstanding Greek examples of innovation and sustainability in non-alcoholic wine and related agri-food industries. Through dedicated field research and interviews with producers and experts, INNOPOLIS identified initiatives that demonstrate excellence in production methods, market impact, and environmental responsibility. These examples were carefully analyzed and translated into four languages (EN, IT, HU, EL), providing accessible knowledge to learners, trainers, and entrepreneurs across Europe. The Best Practices Map integrates these contributions into the WINOVATE digital platform, offering an interactive and visual exploration of innovation across Greece. Users can navigate the map to discover the inspiring stories behind leading producers such as Tsililis Winery (organic non-alcoholic wines, Trikala), Biblia Chora Estate (sustainability innovation, Kavala), Markou Vineyards (AI-powered viticulture, Spata), Oenou Yi (wine tourism collaborations), and Lafazanis Winery (blending tradition and modern practices, Nemea). This dynamic platform not only educates but also fosters cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange in the growing alcohol-free wine market.

By documenting and sharing these best practices, INNOPOLIS strengthens the WINOVATE project’s mission to empower the next generation of agri-food professionals. The Best Practices Map serves as a bridge between traditional knowledge and modern innovation, offering concrete inspiration for students, trainers, and entrepreneurs who aspire to lead the future of sustainable wine production in Greece and beyond.
