InnoPolis participated in the workshop organised by Greenpeace Greece on the 21th of June, from 17:00 to 20:00, on the ship of Greenpeace "Rainbow Warrior". The ship sailed in the Greek seas from June 12 to 22 in the context of the organisation's European campaign on the climate crisis and the promotion of clean energy from renewable sources instead of mineral fuel. Rainbow Warrior was anchored in the Port of Corfu for two days.

InnoPolis (partner of Interreg Europe PASSAGE project) attended the workshop "Energy Communities within the framework of the European initiative REScoop PLUS", organised by REScoop PLUS and Technical University of Crete, and hosted by the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece on Tuesday, 18 May 2018.
InnoPolis participated in the seminar hosted by Kent County Council in Dover (Kent, UK) from 5 to 8 March 2018 for the last partnership seminar before starting the second phase of the PASSAGE project, dedicated to the implementation of their 6 action plans.
InnoPolis (partner of Interreg Europe PASSAGE project) attended the conference “Smart islands & small cities: Policies, Technologies, Financing Solutions & Good Practices” organized by the Aegean Energy and Environment Agency (AEGEA), DAFNI Network of Sustainable Greek Islands and energypress.gr, on 22-23 February 2018 at the Ionic Centre in Athens.
InnoPolis-Center for Innovation and Culture, participated in the 4th cross-border meeting with PASSAGE stakeholders’ groups, hosted by Territorial Cooperation Sector of Apulia Region and organised by the Province of Lecce, jointly with the Region of Ionian Islands and InnoPolis, associating the Regional Council of Vlora. The meeting gave the opportunity to stakeholders from Italy, Greece and Albania along with PASSAGE partners to finalise the common Action Plan of the Otranto and Corfu straits concerning the low-carbon economy and climate change mitigation in the above mention straits.
InnoPolis (partner of Interreg Europe PASSAGE project) attended the workshop “Setting up and strengthening of energy cooperatives in Greece” organized by the social cooperative "Wind of Renewal", the social cooperative enterprise "Electra Energy" and the Heinrich Böll Foundation Greece, in cooperation with the Urban Sustainability Office of the City of Athens, with the support of the Europe Direct City of Athens on 1st of December 2017.
InnoPolis-Center for Innovation and Culture, in cooperation with the Region of Ionian Islands (Greece), the Prefecture of Lecce (Italy) and the Regional Council of Vlore (Albania), organised the 3rd cross-border meeting with stakeholders’ groups, concerning low carbon economy issues, in Corfu on Monday 6 November 2017. The meeting took place at the conference room of the Regional Unit of Corfu (former Prefecture building) in the framework of the European project "PASSAGE - Public Authorities Supporting Low Carbon Growth in European Maritime Border Regions".
On the 10th of October 2017, InnoPolis and its partners from PASSAGE project organised the “Regional and intermediate policy makers, drivers for cross-border maritime cooperation” workshop at the occasion of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.

InnoPolis with the other PASSAGE project partners participated in the seminar hosted by Harju County Government in Tallinn of Estonia from 5 to 7 September 2017.

INNOPOLIS, as a member of the partnership of PASSAGE project, was present in Bastia, Corsica from 16 to 17 of May 2017. Together with the other partners of the project, we shared our best practice to support entrepreneurship and social innovation in the framework of low-carbon transition. The seminar was organized by the Chamber of commerce and industry of Haute-Corse (France).
The cross-border meeting, that took place at Council Hall-Provincia di Lecce (Lecce, Italy) on Monday 27 March 2017, aimed at defining a shared action plan for low-carbon transition in the Straits of Otranto and Corfu (Albania/Greece/Italy). Province of Lecce, InnoPolis and Regional Council of Vlora invited the local stakeholders from both shores of the maritime border to attend the meeting and share their ideas on priority areas of cooperation for low-carbon transition.
A great opportunity for networking with other European projects on similar thematic objectives and policy areas was the training event of the RAMSES (Reconciling Adaptation, Mitigation and Sustainable Development for citiES) project in Athens, Greece. Mr. Petropoulos from InnoPolis, one of the Greek partners of PASSAGE project, attended the RAMSES training event, held on 15th of February 2017 in Athens.
InnoPolis invites all stakeholders to send their best practices on the theme "Environment and attractiveness strategies" (e.g. sustainable tourism, promotion of natural and cultural heritage with respect to environment, etc.), addressing the maritime border region between Greece and Italy.
Selected best practices will be presented in Lecce on 28 and 29 March 2017.
Innopolis participated at the first seminar of PASSAGE project which took place in the Fehmarnbelt region (German-Danish maritime border) at the invitation of Femernbelt Development, partner of the project.
The seminar was dedicated to presentations of the different partner institutions and maritime borders. A specific focus was done on the cross-border policy instruments selected by project partners. Local perspectives were given through field visits around the tunnel project between the two shores of the Fehmarnbelt and questions about its impacts on carbon emissions.
PASSAGE project will be presented by InnoPolis staff to Corfu stakeholders during the week from 12 to 16 September 2016, in cooperation with SMARTINNO.
