SYMBIOSIS: Kick off meeting in Bitola

The kick-off meeting of the project ‘’Symbiotic networks of bio-waste sustainable management (SYMBIOSIS)” was hosted by Public Enterprise KOMUNALEC in Bitola on 28-29/06/2018. The project of SYMBIOSIS is implemented within the “INTERREG IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Greece – the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia 2014-2020”.

InnoPolis-Center for Innovation and Culture, participated in the 4th cross-border meeting with PASSAGE stakeholders’ groups, hosted by Territorial Cooperation Sector of Apulia Region and organised by the Province of Lecce, jointly with the Region of Ionian Islands and InnoPolis, associating the Regional Council of Vlora. The meeting gave the opportunity to stakeholders from Italy, Greece and Albania along with PASSAGE partners to finalise the common Action Plan of the Otranto and Corfu straits concerning the low-carbon economy and climate change mitigation in the above mention straits.

InnoPolis (partner of Interreg Europe PASSAGE project) attended the workshop “Setting up and strengthening of energy cooperatives in Greece” organized by the social cooperative "Wind of Renewal", the social cooperative enterprise "Electra Energy" and the Heinrich Böll Foundation Greece, in cooperation with the Urban Sustainability Office of the City of Athens, with the support of the Europe Direct City of Athens on 1st of December 2017.

PASSAGE: 3rd Stakeholders meeting in Corfu

InnoPolis-Center for Innovation and Culture, in cooperation with the Region of Ionian Islands (Greece), the Prefecture of Lecce (Italy) and the Regional Council of Vlore (Albania), organised the 3rd cross-border meeting with stakeholders’ groups, concerning low carbon economy issues, in Corfu on Monday 6 November 2017. PASSAGE: Meeting in Tallinn

InnoPolis with the other PASSAGE project partners participated in the seminar hosted by Harju County Government in Tallinn of Estonia from 5 to 7 September 2017.

PASSAGE: Stakeholder meeting in Corfu

InnoPolis-Center for Innovation and Culture, in cooperation with the Region of Ionian Islands (Greece), the Prefecture of Lecce (Italy) and the Regional Council of Vlore (Albania), organized the 2nd meeting with stakeholders’ groups, concerning low carbon economy issues, in Corfu on Wednesday 19 July 2017. The meeting took place at the conference room of the Regional Unit of Corfu (former Prefecture building) in the framework of the European project "PASSAGE - Public Authorities Supporting Low Carbon Growth in European Maritime Border Regions".

PASSAGE: Meeting in Bastia

INNOPOLIS, as a member of the partnership of PASSAGE project, was present in Bastia, Corsica from 16 to 17 of May 2017. Together with the other partners of the project, we shared our best practice to support entrepreneurship and social innovation in the framework of low-carbon transition. The seminar was organized by the Chamber of commerce and industry of Haute-Corse (France).

PASSAGE: Stakeholder meeting in Lecce

The cross-border meeting, that took place at Council Hall-Provincia di Lecce (Lecce, Italy) on Monday 27 March 2017, aimed at defining a shared action plan for low-carbon transition in the Straits of Otranto and Corfu (Albania/Greece/Italy). Province of Lecce, InnoPolis and Regional Council of Vlora invited the local stakeholders from both shores of the maritime border to attend the meeting and share their ideas on priority areas of cooperation for low-carbon transition.

PASSAGE: Participation in RAMSES training, Athens

A great opportunity for networking with other European projects on similar thematic objectives and policy areas was the training event of the RAMSES (Reconciling Adaptation, Mitigation and Sustainable Development for citiES) project in Athens, Greece. Mr. Petropoulos from InnoPolis, one of the Greek partners of PASSAGE project, attended the RAMSES training event, held on 15th of February 2017 in Athens.

PASSAGE: Best practices

PASSAGE EU FLAG
InnoPolis invites all stakeholders to send their best practices on the theme "Environment and attractiveness strategies" (e.g. sustainable tourism, promotion of natural and cultural heritage with respect to environment, etc.), addressing the maritime border region between Greece and Italy.
Selected best practices will be presented in Lecce on 28 and 29 March 2017.

PASSAGE: Meeting in Helsinki

InnoPolis participated in the thematic seminar focused on low carbon transport and mobility which took place from 22 to 24 November 2016 at Helsinki, Finland. The meeting was hosted by Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, the capital region of Finland.

PASSAGE: Project seminar in Fehmarnbelt

PASSAGE EU FLAG
Innopolis participated at the first seminar of PASSAGE project which took place in the Fehmarnbelt region (German-Danish maritime border) at the invitation of Femernbelt Development, partner of the project.

The seminar was dedicated to presentations of the different partner institutions and maritime borders. A specific focus was done on the cross-border policy instruments selected by project partners. Local perspectives were given through field visits around the tunnel project between the two shores of the Fehmarnbelt and questions about its impacts on carbon emissions.

AHM: Workshop, round table & JTU meeting in Corfu

PARTICIPATION OF INNOPOLIS IN eHEALTH FORUM 2015, the Greek event for the promotion of eHealth

InnoPolis participated in the leading European Forum for eHealth, with a presentation of the Project AdriHealthMob (AHM) on 3-4 December, 2015


eHealth Forum is a new, dynamic event that promotes synergies on multiple levels, between scientists, academics, entrepreneurs — both of the public and private sectors — in the fields of ICT and healthcare in Greece. The conference was a sequence to the eHealth Forum 2014, a very successful event on digital health applications, which brought together hundreds of stakeholders from Greece, Europe and the U.S.A., with the ambition to become an annual event.
The main themes of the eHealth Forum 2015 were:
• e-Health legal framework
• Digital applications, interoperability, certification
• Clinical management of disease and Healthy ageing
• Greek and European eHealth Ecosystem
• Digital applications for the management of pharmaceutical products
• Financing innovation
• Challenging topic: eHealth as a tool to address the refugee issue

The Forum took place in Divani Caravel Hotel, in Athens, on 3-4 December 2015. InnoPolis - Centre for Innovation and Culture, www.innopolis.org, participated with its representatives: Mr. Petropoulos Nikolaos, Ms. Angeliki Rouvali, Ms Dionisia Petropoulou and Ms. Chaldeaki Panagiota-Catherine, in this 2day event with a presentation at the Speaker's Corner of the European project AdriheathMob - Adriatic Model of Sustainable Mobility in the Health & Care Sector, http://adrihealthmob.eu/.
The event was organized by the HL7 Hellas and the General Secretariat of Public Health of the Ministry of Health - under the auspices of the Ministry. The presentation of the project AdriHealthMob was followed by a roundtable discussion between the attendees, moderated by Mr. Petropoulos Nikolaos.
Also InnoPolis attended the Open and Interactive Workshop of the Greek Network of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) moderated by the Professors Nikolao Siafaka and Antonio Politi, with main characteristics the wide participation, the passion and the commitment for co-operation between the participants.

eHealth Forum 2015 - the Greek event for the promotion of eHealth

AHM Public Consultation

INNOPOLIS has proceeded with the mapping of health, care and transportation facilities in the Adriatic and Ionian Sea, as well as throughout the Greek territory, within the framework of AdriHealthMob project. Also INNOPOLIS proceeds with the recording of innovative technologies and practices, i-health (intelligent-health), that have been implemented in the Macro-region, in order to disseminate them throughout the ecosystem.

Taking all these into consideration, the participation of the public and private stakeholders of Health and Welfare to the project’s public consultation is indispensable.

This consultation consists of:

  • The completion of the online questionnaire, which every interested stakeholder will find here: Questionnaire of Best Practices
  • Networking actions, which are to be implemented as we proceed with the project,
  • The creation of an Innovative Health and Welfare Ecosystem in the area of the Adriatic and Ionian Region.
  • The continuous dialogue among all participating players that will lead to the promotion of partnerships and cooperation for the development of innovative products and services towards improving the competitiveness and sustainability of the services provided.

GIFT2.0: Ομάδα Εστίασης (Focus Group), Ιωάννινα, 17/11/2015

Στα πλαίσια του διακρατικού έργο έργου GIFT 2.0, η InnoPolis, ένας από τους Έλληνες εταίρους του έργου, διοργανώνει ROAD SHOW από τις 16 Νοεμβρίου έως και το τέλος Δεκεμβρίου 2015, στις Περιφέρειες Δ.Ελλάδας, Ιονίων Νήσων & Ηπείρου, με στόχο να αναδείξει τα οφέλη από τα εργαλεία που έχουν αναπτυχθεί. Πρώτος σταθμός ήταν τα Ιωάννινα όπου στις 17 Νοεμβρίου 2015, δημιουργήθηκε στην αίθουσα του Επιμελητηρίου, Ομάδα Εστίασης (Focus Group), όπου συζητήθηκαν οι δυνατότητες και οι προοπτικές που προκύπτουν από την χρήση της πλατφόρμας και των εργαλείων της, στους τομείς του Τουρισμού και των Μεταφορών.

GIFT2.0: Roadshow

Στο πλαίσιο του διακρατικού έργο έργου GIFT 2.0 η InnoPolis, ένας από τους Έλληνες εταίρους του έργου, διοργανώνει ROAD SHOW από τις 16 Νοεμβρίου έως και το τέλος Δεκεμβρίου 2015, στις Περιφέρειες Δυτ. Ελλάδας, Ιονίων Νήσων & Ηπείρου, με στόχο μέσα από μια σύντομη προσωπική ενημέρωση (10-15 λεπτά) να ενημερωθούν οι επιχειρήσεις στον χώρο τους για τα οφέλη από τα εργαλεία που έχουν αναπτυχθεί.

Το έργο GIFT 2.0 στοχεύει στην ανάδειξη τρόπων ανάπτυξης της περιοχής Αδριατικής-Ιονίου και των εμπλεκόμενων Περιφερειών της Ελλάδας & Ιταλίας, μέσω της από κοινού συντονισμένης διαχείρισης των υφιστάμενων υποδομών και των κοινών υπηρεσιών, προκειμένου να προκύψουν νέες ροές κυκλοφορίας (συνδέσεις κοντινών αποστάσεων, γειτονικών περιοχών αλλά και μεγαλύτερων αποστάσεων) καθώς και να εδραιώσει την ανακατανομή των υφισταμένων με ένα βελτιστοποιημένο τρόπο, ελαχιστοποιώντας το κόστος.

Στα πλαίσια αυτά το GIFT 2.0 αναπτύσσει πιλοτικές εφαρμογές όπου τουριστικές επιχειρήσεις και επιχειρήσεις μεταφορών θα μπορούν να συνδεθούν και να αξιοποιήσουν υπηρεσίες που παρέχονται σχετικά με τη διευκόλυνση της διακίνησης αγαθών και επιβατών μεταξύ Ελλάδος και Ιταλίας, σε πρώτη φάση.

Pilot project of interest to Tourist enterprises in Patras, Ancient Olympia, Nafpaktos, Aegialia

Το έργο GIFT 2.0 ακολουθώντας τις Ευρωπαϊκές οδηγίες που εκφράζονται από την Λευκή Βίβλο στις Συγκοινωνίες (COM2011/144), την Ψηφιακή Ατζέντα και την Ευρωπαϊκή Οδηγία EU 40/2010, στοχεύει στην προαγωγή τρόπων ανάπτυξης της Μακρο-περιφέρειας Αδριατικής-Ιονίου, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στις γειτνιάζουσες περιφέρειες της Ελλάδος και της Ιταλίας. Αυτός ο στόχος θα επιτευχθεί μέσω μίας από κοινού συντονισμένης διαχείρισης των υπαρχουσών υποδομών και των κοινών υπηρεσιών για την υιοθέτηση νέων κυκλοφοριακών ροών (κοντινών συνδέσεων, γειτονικών περιοχών και μεγαλύτερων αποστάσεων). Επιπλέον, επιχειρείται να βελτιστοποιηθούν οι υπάρχουσες ροές, ώστε να ελαχιστοποιηθεί το κόστος.

Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο το GIFT 2.0 αναπτύσσει πιλοτική εφαρμογή, στην οποία επιχειρήσεις του τουριστικού τομέα θα μπορούν να προβάλλουν τις υπηρεσίες τους σε όσους/ες μετακινούνται μεταξύ Ελλάδος και Ιταλίας.

“Gift 2.0 - Greece Italy Facilities for Transport 2.0” project with project partners Region of Apulia, Province of Bari, University of Salento-Center for Business Innovation, Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture of Bari, InnoPolis-Centre for Innovation and Culture, Region of Western Greece, University of Patras, Chamber of Ioannina, Chamber of Achaia and Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, will participate in the Transport Logistic International Exhibition for Logistics, Mobility, IT and Supply Chain Management, Messe München 2015 – transport logistic 2015 (Munich - GERMANY), 5-8/5/2015, in order to promote the new traffic flows and the creation of an informative hub centre.

SILVER WELLBEING: Kick off meeting in Bari

The kick-off meeting of the project "Promoting Silver tourism through valorization of MED-diet and wellbeing routes in the CBC area - Silver Wellbeing” was hosted by University Hospital Consortium Corporation Polyclinic of Bari, in Bari, Italy, on 12-13/09/2018. The project of Silver Wellbeing is implemented within the “Interreg V- A Greece-Italy Programme 2014-2020”.
